Not saying I support China hosing, nut on the plus side I am happy to see that they were able to reuse many of the facilities that were constructed for the 2008 summer Olympics. I think it is a shame that these facilities are often constructed just for the games and don't get used again.

Yes I think fewer countries are willing to bid on the games because the cost of building up the infrastructure means that countries lose money on hosting. Definitely a good argument towards having a few rotating permanent location so that you can actually reuse the buildings[/quote]
