What has the U.S. done when its economic well-being was threatened? Every single time? What did and does it still do?
Russia's economic well being is not threatened. Neither is it's security well being. If Russia does nothing then nothing happens. The choice is entirepy Russia's.
Russia feels that positioning NATO's offensive weapons and bases in countries within the shooting range of Russia (i.e. Bulgaria & Romania) is a threat. You may argue that these things do not threaten Russia, but they feel differently.
Except neither Bulgaria nor Romania are in shooting range of Russia and neither has offensive weapons positioned there. Facts are facts.
Also, it should be pointed out that threatening to invade a third country unless NATO doesn't do what they are not doing is asinine. Not only would that bring NATO (Romania) into shooting range it would also create a reason for offensive weapons to be placed there.
Oh honey, step away from your media feed. Russia's economy depends on the gas line that goes through Ukraine. The rest is just games. The very livelihood of Russia is in question. The U.S. has attacked and invaded every time it felt that gasoline supply was threatened, and it has removed government in the blink of an eye, or a year if they didn't like where that country is heading. You are still so indoctrinated with your hate of Russia that you cannot see your own country for what it is. The hypocrisy boggles the mind! We can do whatever we want and still think we are the good guys; Russia can take over 98% of ethnic Russian Crimea that had a referendum to leave Ukraine and be the bad guys. The U.S. supplies and bombs former Yugoslavia to allow parts to succeed from it so they can join the U.S. influence zone. Cause... humanitarian bombings that result in NATO bases closer to Russia and the Middle East and control the whole region. Yep, whatever we do, we be good; they be bad. The saddest part is that they convinced you that this is for BCS we are the good guys, we are dying for liberty and freedom, (and some cheap gasoline) and yet most of us never actually see any benefits from this. We send our sons and daughters to make huge conglomerates rich! Like the ones that lived off the taxpayer's spending in Afghanistan! And you are PROUD that your kids are dying to make a rich man richer!
