No rush to get it. Most people are just treating it like the flu or any other coronavirus now, considering the less than flu level risk for vaccinated adults and unvaccinated children.

If it was up to some people, we'd be taking tests every day and locking down for new variants for the rest of our lives. Not going to happen.

So you think it is funny that my under 5 year old has health conditions which make him at risk for serious COVID complications. My older kids eating lunch outside is such a small price to pay for anyone's health.  Not to mention the kids get more recess time with outdoor lunch.  (They can play when they're done eating as opposed to waiting for everyone to finish before the class goes outside).

At the end of the day, COVID will be here forever so trying to stop the spread should no longer be the goal. We don’t do these things during flu seasons so why are we doing them now when there are 3 highly effective vaccines available?
