This is mostly hyperbole. The pool is stronger than ever. A few of the weaker preppers didn't make the cut and were replaced by less wealthy kids who were the most talented in their schools. Seems like they have a lot greater potential than the kids being forced to prep 1234 hours per week by their tiger parents.

I know and can't grasp why those wokes are bent on a fair and inclusive process! The old system was fine. We could take a few prep classes to guarantee a spot at TJ. Now everyone is getting in even those poors![/quote]

Their post is clearly sarcastic but seems fair because it sheds light on the actual issue here. People who want to maintain their privilege over others by clinging to a rigged system.  I don't think the changes are perfect but they are an improvement since overall more will benefit than before.[/quote]
