APS is offering a private school program for free, but it costs more than the regular ol' neighborhood program.
What makes you think that Montessori costs more than a "regular neighborhood program?" Other than buses, I suppose.
Teachers have to have specific Montessori training/certification; there is an assistant teacher in every classroom. Maximum class sizes, theoretically, are not as flexible as neighborhood programs. Montessori uses different curriculum and materials. Rather than continuing to interrogate the people questioning or asking questions about Montessori, how about answering the questions being asked about Montessori? If the "critics" are so wrong, you would do better to prove them so than to continue accusing them of being anti-Montessoi/bitter Henry parents/resentful parents whose kids didn't get in/or angry antagonists with some vendetta against Montessori.
