Relying on a high school alumni network, really?
Really. If you have lived in this area for some time, it becomes clear how the network of private high schools especially the all boys schools like Landon and Gonzaga really do look in an almost obsessive way to help out their fellow alums.
Not the PP and I have lived in the area for 50 years. This is an area where people come and go and alumni networks are important. I have never once heard of someone getting a job based on a HS alumni network. This is a lacrosse forum so it is same to assume that these are kids that will likely look to play college lacrosse. Schools like W&L, UVA, Ivies, Tufts, ect.. do have very strong alumni networks. I know of companies in finance and commercial real estate that do like to hire lacrosse players. At what point to you bypass the college alumni network to rely on the HS one??
You have lived in the area for 50 years but are somehow oblivious to the networks associated with these high schools? In Washington in many social and professional circles where you went to high school is more important than where you went to college.
