It's not arrogance, it's science. Life expectancy is shorter in some communities recently because of the opioid epidemic and other addictions, but in other populations it is increasing. And in human history, there were civilizations who didn't live past 30s. So this notion of everyone in history being alive to enjoy grandkids is silly. [/quote]
