This makes no sense. Her music and style have gotten dramatically more intellectual and artistic over the years. 
She may not be everyone’s cup of tea but she’s probably the most talented solo artist we’ve ever seen. She’s like Whitney but she can dance and [b]her music is deeper.[/b] She’s like Janet or Madonna but she can sing. She’s the whole package. I only ever listened to a few of her songs but when Lemonade came out it blew my mind. [b]I didn’t know she had this side to her and I’m grateful she’s sharing it with the world. [/b]

You must have a very different definition of humanitarian than I do.  And guess what? It's fine.  Each time you attack me, it really reflects back to something you hate about yourself.

So I'll say this much - that while I use many song lyrics in my classroom, Beyonce's lyrics are not appropriate for classroom use in most cases.  (And they're not very challenging either.)

But I'll leave you with these "profound" lyrics that include a simile and could even be stretched to include metaphor.
