Serena knew or at least suspected since she had Offred sleep with Nick to get pregnant. I think the guy in the hotel just confirmed that it’s everyone, not just her husband. Also do you remember before she was pregnant she went to that creepy doctor who offered to get her pregnant himself?  I am loving this season and the character development.[/quote]
