I'm sorry, but the southern half fought to KEEP slavery, and they wanted to keep segregation, too, not that long ago (some of us were alive back then and my spouse and I wouldn't have been able to get married without the civil rights movement). I can say we fought to get rid of slavery since my ancestors were in the Union Army.  The Civil Rights.   Our war and our Civil Rights have exactly what to do with the USA being flooded with illegal immigrants?   Why are Mexicans in the USA a priority instead of AA's AKA Citizens?   [/quote]
