Interestingly, those of you willing to defend this Administration seem to be willing to ignore obvious signs and dogwhistles associated with the most deplorable elements of our society. I would never have assumed that so many in our country were so nefarious. What makes me wonder is why otherwise nice, normal and well-adjusted people would knowingly put their head in the sand when others are being persecuted. I guess if one is not part of the persecuted class, they feel no need to help, unless or until they become part of the persecuted class themselves.
