This people magazine article is interesting because they are usually seen as a very positive mouthpiece for Blake. They interviewed a legal expert in sexual harassment, and he thinks that the case is likely to settle and “I’m convinced lively’s case is seriously flawed—particularly the SH claims.” https://people.com/blake-lively-and-justin-baldoni-to-meet-for-settlement-conference-here-s-what-could-happen-11903815
I'm a Lively supporter and find his comments fair. He says he read the summary judgment papers, and Wayfarer does make some strong arguments there, and I do think some of her claims could get kicked (IIRC, there are some claims Wayfarer didn't move to dismiss, so there will still be some claims remaining). Of course he is only commenting on the flaws in Lively's case, since she's the only one who still has a case pending. Wayfarer's claim was also seriously flawed, and in fact was dismissed. Many of us on the Lively side have said the retaliation claim is stronger, so yes, I agree the SH claim has some serious flaws. I have generally not believed the case will settle, but I would love to know what Baldoni/Wayfarer are offering her, especially with the insurance issues up in the air. Daily Mail and reddit have some photos of the parties arriving at court.
