Now hold on a minute… Battlefield beat Concord’s top two teams Oakton & Madison in regular season, loss to Liberty District’s top two Yorktown & Langley by 2-3 goals in a very competitive game, and loss to Meridian by 1 goal. These are some of the top teams in the state they competed against. Whether people want to admit it or not Battlefield is considered a top contender regardless of rankings which in my opinion are meaningless. YT was ranked 3 in 2022 and some how managed to pull through and win states when Langley/ Madison were stacked with college commits as the top favorites to win it that year. Not a Battlefield fan but you can’t deny those players who worked their butts off this season. And let’s be real, ALL parents at top programs are annoying AF!!! It’s not just BF parents.[/quote]
