The right has been screaming cancel culture for years. They’ve been shouting at the top of their lungs that their first amendment rights are being taken. Why? Because someone on twitter said they would stop supporting them.

We’re in the same place we’ve always been. If Kimmel had been fired for his black face skit 30 years ago, THAT would have been cancel culture.  But, Kimmel getting disciplined in real time for spreading obvious political falsehoods on the public air waves is a completely different animal.  [/quote]
