I was listening to WTOP in the car the other day and even the male reporter seemed to have a sympathetic tone toward Combs making an unusual mention of long term girlfriend and that he “doesn’t know” if jurors will count that as sex trafficking as if sex trafficking can’t be long term or even generational Men always see themselves as victims when it comes to sexual misconduct accusations
Exactly! People minimize the abuse men do. Misogyny is so rampant that both men and women tend to sympathize with men first. I watched the documentary about the doctor at Ohio State who was similar to Nasur. The number of people, men and women, who protected him and "the system" was astounding. He apparently was one of the first doctors who understood the use of steroids and sports performance and helped all the Ohio State athletes compete while jacked. There is also a story about some business guy in TN who was so connected in his community that he got away with organized date rapes for decades and the police wouldn't even investigate. When you hear them talk about the victims it tells you everything about how far we have regressed as far as respect for women.
