My dc goes to school with kids from all different backgrounds.  There is a transgendered kiddo in dc's class, too.  [b]The goal for the community (it is a public school) is for *each kid* to feel supported, loved and celebrated[/b].

PP here, and +1000.  It is not the responsibility of schools to keep our kids "safe." It is not the responsibility of schools to push a radical leftist agenda of racism and gender questioning. That is the parents' role, to handle individually with their own children as they wish.
