The one interview they were hoping to pin on the smear campaign was the little baby bump interview which went viral and caused extreme backlash, but that is not even going to be part of the trial. The journalist who posted that video was subpoenaed and in her deposition said she’s never been contacted by Baldoni’s team. There is no tracing Baldoni’s team back to her, so that was a dead end.

However, of note, one of the Sony executives criticizing her said she should have apologized to the reporter. So even that misstep was on Blake. It went viral as did Anne Hathaway‘s interview, and Hathaway immediately apologized, and that is why we are not still talking about that interview two years later.[/quote]
