Much like how in a job search it may take 2-5 (or more) interviews before you start to find your stride. Unless you have a kid who will go and royally mess up, I don't think the experience hurts. We found that it was helpful to watch interactions and gained some knowledge of coach "tells" just by observing how they observed if that makes sense. We have a kid who was a commit in another sport and this was a tip we picked up in that sport, and applied it to lax.[/quote]
