Baldoni brought this on himself. He could have just not been a weirdo on his set and avoided calling actresses sexy or insisting all women give birth nude, but he couldn't lock it down and decided to wild out. And then he panicked when he thought reports of what he'd done might come out and trashed his own lead actress in the press as the movie came out, which is crazy unproductive. Plus if his PR flak hadn't been dumb enough to text all about that on a work phone as she was leaving her employer while stealing clients, he would have gotten away with it. Just a string of unforced errors by Team Baldoni.

Except they really have no evidence for the retaliation campaign. There is an email from the CEO of Sony saying Blake brought this on herself. He said she knew better and she created all this drama and it backfired on her, the launch of the hair product line while promoting this movie was “epic level stupid” and that her career was over. And that’s he never seen anything like it in his career.

That is a pretty compelling email from an expert in the industry. You don’t get to be CEO of a major studio if you don’t know some things.

Meanwhile, lively’s team after subpoenaing dozens and dozens of content creators, found nothing. Jed Wallace was literally monitoring lively‘s team smearing Baldoni, and there is a voice note with him saying some of the things he has found, advising them to lay low and let lively‘s team continue to beat themselves as “everything is traceable.”Wallace is not stupid enough to unleash bots when he knows it’s easily traced back to him. Yeah that is exactly what lively’s team was doing.

They’re going to have to go to the jury if it makes it to trial with essentially a conspiracy theory, while Baldoni‘s team can have the CEO of Sony read the email saying that in his expert opinion, she tanked her career by the missteps that she made, not Sony and not Wayfarer. no studio advised her to launch her hair care campaign or market her and her husband’s alcohol businesses. Epic level stupid indeed.[/quote]
