And it is more than just Trump. His lies started with stupid stuff like the size of the crowd at his inauguration. I thought there were honest people in power who would stand up to his lies and bullshit as time went by, and they became more serious. But it's beyond disappointing than many (most?) of them just went along with him and looked the other way or fully aided him to keep him and themselves in power. The 61 lawsuits on certain states' elections, the attempted overturning of the electoral votes on January 6, the continued denial that they lost the election. It is just so, so disappointing and sad.[/quote]
