"We."  It should have nothing to do with you, sir or madam. It should be what your child wants, and only that, exclusively.

Your job is to assist your child in fulfilling their aspirations.  It doesn't matter a tinker's darn if you want them to play D1, try and play professionally,  or whatever.  If your kid says they want "xyz" then you help them work towards xyz.  This is not YOUR life, nor is it your sport. You are simply a facilitator for something they want in their life. The sooner you learn this,  the better.[/quote]
