What value is there to being heralded as a patriot when you are dead? I’m sure it was cold comfort to their families.  How many people can name the victims of the Boston Massacre?  They didn’t think they’d be killed that day either.  That kind of “you’ll be remembered as a hero” is the kind of nationalist nonsense that has gotten young men killed for millennia. BTW none of the soldiers in the Boston Massacre faced any consequences of note.

I mean if you want to behave foolishly to satisfy your need to feel like somebody go ahead. Renee is dead - hundreds of pages arguing won’t make a difference in that. Nothing anyone says will put her kids to bed at night. I’m sorry that my words encouraging thoughtful and cautious and effective protest is somehow offensive to you. I’m more concerned about the people who haven’t been killed yet. I’m sure her child would rather have a live mom than a hero one. [/quote]
