The authorities are saying they're stumped.  They've closed the trail as a precaution.  People will be speculating until the official COD comes out.  Probably heat stroke, but if they're interviewing a lot of people (as has been mentioned?), it seems to be more than heat stroke.[/quote]

The person who said that lots of people were being interviewed was stated to be a troll and their posts were removed by the moderator.

This is how misinformation spreads, people. Obviously people who actually know these people would like to know what happened to them, but I have seen zero confirmation that anyone is being interviewed in Mariposa in any great numbers.[/quote]
