Because there are so few "Continental Catholics" in DMV, their opinion of the Irish Catholics would hardly seem to matter.

Georgetown and BC are still highly desirable destinations for the graduates of local Catholic high schools, especially the two Jesuit high schools.

Combing through the Parish Times shows almost no trace of 8th graders bound for anything other than Catholic or public schools for high school.

The characterization of the Irish as "frustrated WASPs" is weird. Instead they stick to their own culture and history which features a lot of mistreatment by the group you say they envy.[/quote]
