If you want to rank your preferences in their true order, wouldn't it make sense to know that you stand a chance of getting on a specific waitlist in a position lower than the one you were accepted at? Don't you think that would affect how you rank the schools? They are publically saying one thing and internally saying another. This runs completely counter to the purpose of the lottery - making an [b]informed [/b]decision on the future of your child's education.[/quote]
