You aren't trolling, but not reading very well. DC had NNAT above 132, all 4s, GBRS of 11 (1 below 12), 130 and 132 on the parts that actually identify giftedness on the WISC and is advanced reading. Reality is that AAP is probably the best fit, but with the 16% processing speed we are not going to appeal this year. I completely trust Dr. Dahlgren and her expertise in this matter. We can wait a year; not a big deal.
IAll of the parts of the WISC identify giftedness. DC has processing speed of 143. Not every gifted child has a low processing speed. Only saying this because the processing speed is valuable which is WHY it is part of the IQ score. You don't know what you're saying if you think the processing speed isn't important. Not trying to start an argument, but it seems like you are trying to convince this mom that the Dr.s advice is wrong and that the 85 processing speed is a result of nothing. I would be very nervous to add this wisc into DC's records. Without a diagnosis of ADHD or something else it seems like an unnecessary piece of info for the school to have which won't help and could hurt. IMHO I wouldn't give this information to the school.
