Thanks for asking! It was bittersweet-  my Bubbie (grandma) is turning 94, so we had a birthday brunch for her (mmm bagels) and we gave her that egg to crack as a gift. She was THRILLED.  And then, quickly forgot.  lots of, "what baby?".  She has Parkinsons and had a stroke last year so her short term memory is not great.  But my sister was very excited.  My mom and dad already knew - I couldn't NOT tell my mom after telling her about IVF.  My MIL was happy, and was sort of already getting on my nerves about it.  I hope she realizes that she will not be visiting the minute the baby is born.  and I hope they all realize it's still early (13 weeks).

I am going to Pittsburgh in a few weeks to tell my favorite Aunt in person, which will be great.

I also bought a fetal dopler (it's en route) because my worry was getting to me. Hopefully it doesn't make me worry more!

How is everyone else?  Is anyone awaiting "coming out" to family/friends?
Did anyone do barre this weekend? 
I WILL go this coming weekend!  If you are going (anyone) and want to meet up early at Caribou, let me know!

We should still plan a "happy 2nd trimester" gathering if people are interested.  Has anyone been to Le Diplomat yet?  They have a LOVELY solarium type room that screamed 'ladies who brunch' to me.  But sadly without the bloody marys :( [/quote]
