The truth is both candidates have flaws but as an educator and mother I cannot in good conscience vote for McDuffie. He does not have to be Satan’s spawn or the like to be an overly corrupt and self-serving politician. I would like to give something else a chance. That’s it. But you sit here and disparage her like getting an endorsement from TEACHERS IS something that the Nazi party would get. Because let’s be honest those types are much more likely to endorse McDuffie. Teacher’s unions or the like do not often endorse those who want to destroy education -charter or not. There are plenty of us who work for DCPS and send our kids to charters. Scrutinizing poor charters is not the same thing as wanting them all destroyed and no viable alternatives. Obviously even the WTU know we do not have enough excellent MS and HS options.
Blah blah blah. We heard you the first time.
I see you are devaluing the majority of women who work in a public school. Why? I’m not sure why the above is not relevant or information from an actual teacher. Somehow you’d rather believe an article from an anti-public school enthusiast. This society already doesn’t value women or children. I would really love to live in a city that makes some changes. A mayor is not going to just listen to a teacher’s union, especially because they want more than 4 years.
