This kind of is an example about how liberalism seems to focus on victimhood and who is the bigger victim and victims can do no wrong. What he shouted was deeply offensive . He didn’t really apologize . If I had a disorder that made me make sudden motions and I hurt someone I would apologize if I so even though I didn’t intend to. They still got hurt
What if you were warned that it might happen first? The reaction seems to be "well, you were warned." That's what's happening here.
The only people that were warned about his potential outbursts were the ones sitting in his general vicinity. Which makes it even worse because MJB and Delroy thought it was just some random man in the audience hurling a racial slur at them!
No. The attendees were warned.
I wish people would stop repeating this. They were warned he might shout some offensive things, which is so general, not actual racial slurs.
Are people really so naive that they don't think offensive things, which offend, might not include any kind of slur? What would be an ok offensive thing?
I'm sorry you lack such an imagination, but there are tons of offensive words like b****, a**hole, etc. you can imagine one shouting. I highly doubt Lindo and Jordan immediately jumped to the conclusion that he'd shout the n-word, and we now know they didn't jump to that conclusion given that multiple people from Sinners have spoken out about it, including Lindo, another person involved with the movie, and sources connected to Jordan.
This all boils down to your ignorance of his condition. Maybe start there.
Wow, you really cannot be this daft. The point of the post I was responding to is that the audience should have been okay with that if they were warned. I'm saying that the people in the audience might not have been aware that the offensive warning entailed terms like the n-word, hence why they were taken aback. Don't make this about me and my familiarity with the condition.
I don't assume everyone is as ignorants as you are that they've never heard of Tourettes. That part is on you. The bigger question is whether this was handled appropriately after the fact, and no, it wasn't.
I can't believe I have to repeat this since you lack reading comprehension: I highly doubt Lindo and Jordan immediately jumped to the conclusion that he'd shout the n-word, and we now know they didn't jump to that conclusion given that multiple people from Sinners have spoken out about it, including Lindo, another person involved with the movie, and sources connected to Jordan. Your next disability project should not just be advocating for people with tourettes, but adult people who are illiterate such as yourself.
The hallmark of this disability is saying taboo things but you maintain nobody could have seen this coming?
Again, yes, given the reactions from the people involved in Sinners who said they were surprised. Are you going to keep asking this question even though I've already answered it?
