If anything, I've seen more mediocre and lazy white men get promoted than I have any other kind of worker. White men are the default and their suitability for the job or performance is rarely questioned. Because the are the default. [/quote] In my experience in the last 20 years, it's often terrible white women who have benefitted the most. They not only have white privilege, they get to tap the oppression Olympics due to their gender. So many good awful white female managers over the years. It's truly amazing how bad they were, and how much talent they drove out of orgs because of their awful decision making skills.
