DEI Hire = A more deserving White man, and when one is feeling charitable, a White woman, should have been hired instead of a non-White person.
Shame on all of you hyper partisan fools for turning this tragedy into one of your hate filled back and forth exchanges. You're all part of the problem and not a solution.
It starts with Trump who blamed the tragedy on DEI hired. It turns out, every single person associated with this was a white male. Your ire is misplaced.
Please tell us how you know they were Male. What’s the tell? It can’t be because they had a p_enis though…..
You are so desperate to pin this on trans/DEI or something other than what it actually was. It is really quite sad for you.
DEI is a subversive cancer. It erodes everything over time as more and more idiots get promoted and competent men check out.
I don't know where you work/have worked, how long you have been in the workforce, your gender, or what you have observed, but as an older white woman with decades of work experience, I can tell you that all my work places have included mediocre employees, many of them white men. If anything, I've seen more mediocre and lazy white men get promoted than I have any other kind of worker. White men are the default and their suitability for the job or performance is rarely questioned. Because the are the default.
In my experience in the last 20 years, it's often terrible white women who have benefitted the most. They not only have white privilege, they get to tap the oppression Olympics due to their gender. So many good awful white female managers over the years. It's truly amazing how bad they were, and how much talent they drove out of orgs because of their awful decision making skills.
Are you male? Does your workplace have an equal number of men and women, or does it skew more male or more female? Context matters.
The orgs have an OVERWHELMING number of women in management positions. It is absolutely and completely disproportionate to the number of women in the population AND the number of women who work at lower staff levels. It's also extremely noticable how they almost always prefer a minority female for so many upper level management positions now. Everyone knows they're trying to kill two birds with one stone for the identity and diversity boxes. The recent hire was so, soooo bad she had driven out nearly 70% of all experienced staff and now they're scrambling because they can't meet deadlines. She also had ZERO experience in the field she is now overseeing expert staff for. Just mindless. Below that it is completely filled with a whole bunch of white women. Forget even white guys. Where are the Asian, black, and Latino males represented in those positions? It's zero. You can't sit there and tell me with a straight face Asian guys wouldn't be qualified when they are probably some of the most academically qualified people out there. So many mediocre and horrible women getting promoted. I'm sure it was tough on women back in 1973. But it is 2024. The pendulum has swung so far the other way it is a joke. That's why so many men are now voting conservatively and the whole country spanked the crap out of the Dems due to DEI.
Got it, so you're a male. PS What do you mean by "the orgs"? Which orgs? Are you suggesting that all workplaces in the US have an "overwhelming number of women in management positions"? Because that's demonstrably false.
