Except all of the good players leave coppermine for better teams in hs. Check coppermine commitment history for proof. You disproved your own theory .. The value prop hasn’t changed: stay with M&D DC and bet your daughter’s future on an experiment. Make Cap Blue and you’re on a path with a proven track record. Not rocket science. DMV’s best used to have to travel to MD to compete at the highest levels. Not the case anymore. [/quote]

Lol, not so fast. SW is still relatively strong until you get to the 2028s and lower. Foolish parents, like you it seems, still believed in SW’s model bc of its success in recruiting, but as time went by, kids stopped leaving teams like coppermine in HS. That is exactly what is going to happen with Capital. Look at the rankings, I am 100% correct:

2026- SW #17 (kids actually left this team for better squads, not the other way around)
2027- SW #22 (same as above)
2028- SW # 18, CM #7 (when a few girls left CM this summer, they went to teams like HG, not SW)
2029- SW #29, CM #6 (only girls cut from CM have gone to SW, not 1 girl willingly switched to SW this class)
2030- SW #36, CM #17 (same, no one is leaving CM for SW in this class)
2031- SW #46, CM #12 (same as above)
2032- SW #85, CM #9 (lol, nobody from CM is going to leave for #85)

Overall rankings: SW #18, CM #12

As time has gone on, SW has fallen further behind because they tried sticking to their stupid HS only model while other programs grabbed players early. When my 2029 started playing club ball, SW had just realized that CM was eating its lunch and it started SW middle school teams, but it was too late.

While SW used to be up there with YJ, M&D black, and HG in rankings and recruits, you can see that has slipped tremendously since the 2024 class because it is a dead model. From
2028 on, CM will have higher rankings, more recruits to better schools, and SW won’t be able to do anything about it, all bc of parents like you with their head in the sand.[/quote]
