Nah, democracy is doing just fine, and is working as advertised.  You just don't like the outcome this time around.

And, I agree with those who note that any employee stupid enough to lampoon her employer deserves what she gets.  She could draw cartoons about an infinite number of topics, but choosing specifically to antagonize your employer is just imbecilic.  That has nothing to do with the owner buying anything, apart from an expectation of respect from those whose salaries he pays.  [/quote]
