One of the NBC reporters said this on air yesterday and at that point I was surprised and posted my question. After that I never heard that claim again until today. I don't remember who the reporter was but they have a very good source inside the FBI. That said, this investigation and distribution of information has felt sloppy and disorganized. I know that news evolves quickly, especially as it's breaking but this feels extra messy.
