I am overall a Democrat and am not in favor of vouchers, but I do see the majority of the problems with my job stemming from left wing idealogy - such as no consequences for misbehavior, passing kids along, etc. So many of the big problems with education could be fixed with a simple switch from the top-down in idealogy. But teachers, and admin are afraid to speak out against what is now considered the correct attitude to have regarding these issues. If you indicate that you are not totally on-board with this stuff you risk being socially and professionally ostracized. [/quote]
