Why won’t anyone explain how tariffs will lowe prices?
I’m guessing because they won’t? What is there to explain? Either you were too stupid to figure it out before Election Day (remember one of the trending google searches was “what are tariffs?”) or you think you will somehow benefit personally or you are so full of hate that even if you will suffer all the libs, Feds and Californians will suffer too.
Or you know they will be targeted. Just because you loons pounce at every little thing and have a melt-down with every word doesn't mean the rest of us do. Guy has a 4 year record,
Can you explain how the tariffs will lower prices?
Not saying they do. Just that it won't be as dire as you are screaming about. Biden kept most of Trump's original tariffs. You didn't have a problem with that I assume. Targeted tariffs can indeed be a strategic way to benefit certain American industries and cripple adversary industries. Manufacturing needs to be distributed out of places like China and places they control, that was clearly evident during Covid. The point is, he is not going to slap a 10% tariff on everything day one and you know it. Maybe wait to see what actually happens first.
We know what happens. Do tell how the previous target tariffs helped the economy. Specifically when it comes to steel and auto parts.
Don’t forget the soy market that Trump zeroed out; the loss of which u.s. taxpayers continue to subsidize. Trump has been very expensive.
