I believe his point was that he used to go on shows like Oprah and The View and he got along great with all these women. They adored him. Then he switches parties and they act like he is the devil himself, at least publicly.[/quote]

It's not because he switched parties.  It's because he started saying a lot of nasty things, it's because a lot of nasty things about him came out into the public, it's because he started pandering to a lot of nasty people.  Stop pretending it's merely because he switched parties.   [/quote]
