It gets really frustrating when you play with / against players who cannot play. [/quote] That’s why the whole “varsity” system doesn’t work anymore. Especially at public schools. You have 50 kids try out for what’s called varsity basketball. They can only take 15 students. The top 25 all have equal ability but you have to leave 10 qualified students behind. They need to create recreational teams after school for anyone who signs up. I don’t know if private schools still do this but some used to require every student play a sport after school. It was part of their education. It needs to be part of public school education. [/quote]
