After the Trump-Biden debate, I watched the first Kennedy-Nixon debate on YouTube. It’s hard to believe we’ve fallen so far as a nation. Kennedy and Nixon were both well prepared, congenial, deferential and spoke directly to the camera without using notes. Contrast that with mush-for-brains Biden and five-hundred-word vocabulary lying sack of sh!t Trump.
Politicians don't even sell themselves. The most recent debate was basically Trump: vote me because he sucks Biden: vote me because he sucks Nothing about personal qualities, why they should lead the United States of America, just blabbering about the other.
This year's election inspires the best bumper stickers: Biden: He's not that far gone Trump: Let's finally get this over with
This in insane that we have to deal with Trump for a third election in a row. It’s too much misery.
Yes. The misery quotient is far too high. And it’s only the beginning of July. Hopefully Biden will go for his George Washington moment and say goodbye. Maybe tomorrow on Independence Day?? That leaves four months until the election. Plenty of time. No other country in the world drags elections out as long as we do. Then the Republican Party can mull what it wants to do.
