Kind of a weird time to be alive. Men are trailing women in academic achievement and careers, etc because there was such a huge push in the last few decades via feminism led efforts to bridge the gap. So they’ve caught up and are now beginning to lead and overtake men. So men are now retrenching to right wing politics, sexism, or just are outright ignoring trying to woo a wife for female companionship. It seems like a wedge is being drawn in society. You also see women in cities going nuts in their 30’s and 40’s trying to find a “suriable” man (high earner) and not settling. Many didnt think they wanted kids, but ultimately biology kicks in and they decide they do, but it’s too late so they end up having a kid on their own via IVF. It’s just strange time. Also, it doesn’t help that IVF will prob be outlawed at some point.
Because the entire academic curriculum from K-8 is dominated by women and taught for females. Males learn much more through visual and spatial learning rather than sitting there like rote drones to spend female teacher go on and on at the board. Here's how you learn - take apart a car and rebuild it. Or throw a pile of junk in the classroom and tell the kids to build the most stable bridge they can. Or take them to a construction site to rewire a room in the most efficient way possible. Of course learning never happens like that. You force boys with tremendous amounts of energy to sit for 6+ hours per day learning times tables at the board, going through vocsbulary flash cards, or doing lamewad sentence diagrams at the board. Then when boys cannot sit there like mindless drones doing rote memorization crap, the solution is drug them with ritalin. The vast majority of children on drugs for 'attention deficit disorders' are male. It's a mass drugging of boys simply for being boys. The funniest part is that the vaaaaaaaaast majority of women are utterly helpless in the real world. For all of that college education they still rely on men to fix their cars, fix the plumbing in their homes, fix the electrical work in their homes, and to make sure the sewer systems work to keep society functioning. As the pandemic exposed, 99% of white collar jobs are utterly worthless for survival. The stock boy at Costco is more vital to the economy than the best majority of BS jobs filled by college grads. If the country were ever attacked, we would require electricians, farmers, plumbers and carpenters for our basic survival while all of the college professors teaching philosophy, lawyers, bankers, and the virtually all of the other worthless white collar losers would be inconsequential to our basic survival.
I was waiting for this thread to finally get to some douche bag wanking off to their post apocalyptic fantasy where they finally are the big man we’ve all been waiting for. Ok big man, we concede, when the world has finally completely gone to sh—-, it will be your time to shine.
Look out everyone. Angry Karen is here. She has a college degree and an alphabet soup of titles after her name, yet somehow she can't even change her own oil or replace as pipe leaking in her house. Utterly pathetic survival skills!
Anyone now can watch you tube and start to teach themselves how to change the oil and do some simple plumbing. It's valuable work but it is not rocket science.
Hahaha, until you mess up your electrical work and burn your entire house down. You'd die at this very moment right now in this heat of your electrical went out and your entire panel needed to replaced (99% odds done by a man). Meanwhile, no one's lives would ever be affected of you lost your corporate banking job they required so much 'education'. You are so helpless even with the alphabet soup after your name.
Someone taught you how to change the panel and you learned it. You could learn about banking if you wanted to learn about banking.
You said you could learn via YouTube. Yeah, why don't you go right ahead and try to learn how to change out your electrical panel from YouTube. Make sure you have good life insurance. 5+ years apprenticeship training, exams, and licensing? Who needs that? Electricians are way more vital to national security, life and the functioning of the entire country than some stock trader or finance major from Harvard. Gee, whatever would we do without Wall Street Lara making banking decisions that ruin the entire economy like 2008?
The post was about changing the oil, not replacing the electrical panel. I respect the knowledge required to change the panel is significantly more complex then an oil change and I would not suggest a you tube video for that task.
But to suggest that women are not appropriate to learn how to do electrical work or that men are not appropriate for learning about stock trading is silly.
No one is arguing that women can't learn how to do electrical work. We are just laughing at the fact that women think they're doing better simply because they have more useless college degrees now than men even though it leaves them $80k in debt to get barista jobs while they've learned absolutely zero practical life survival skills relevant to the real world (like changing your oil, changing out a broken pipe, basic carpentry work, etc.). Wow, so impressive you have a college degree and yet you gotta blow $1000 at the mechanic to do your basic maintenance work on your car (probably done by a man) just so you can get your overpaid white collar job zero people would ever care about if you lost it, lolol.
I'm sorry man to tell you, but... Men are poorer, extremely violent, and experience the brunt of the drug/homeless crisis. If anyone is losing, it's not your starbucks worker with a sociology degree who just pays her rent and budgets well. It's the men.
Starbucks worker $80k in debt earning $15/h vs a master electrician $0 in debt earning $85/h. Yeah, I'm sure the college educated sociology major is doing oh so much better. Lol. Men now go to college less because they realize it is a horrendous value proposition when it now leaves you massively in debt for a degree that's worth less than the paper it is printed on. Whatever would we do without all this marketing majors who make ads for the pharmaceutical industry poisoning America with opioids, or all of those overpaid consultants at McKinsey or Bain who outsource jobs and ruin companies?
