[/quote] What was mistranslated?[/quote] Well for starters, when the New Testament was originally written in Greek the word virgin meant unwed young woman. It did not mean a female that hadn’t had sex. So Virgin Mary was in fact an unwed young women. There’s no proof one way or the other whether Joseph and she had had sex or not. We use the word Virgin totally differently in modern times. There are many other examples but this is the first one that comes to mind. [/quote]
