Nah I agree. Not because I feel superior about it but because the stuff listed is expensive AF. Which isn’t a concern for many according to this thread!  I think her younger sister on the other hand might end up liking the “in” stuff when she’s a teen. [/quote]

It is. I have two girls. One could not care less about brands and trends. She has asked for stuff I would never suggest on this thread because I don’t think most teens want it lmao. The younger one on the other hand wants the Stanley/Ugg/Nike Blazers/Kendra Scott type gifts. Neither kid is better than the other, they just have different personalities [/quote]

+2 Definitely a personality thing. My teen DD doesn't care about brands for the most part. There are probably only two exceptions. She asked for Uggs, which she likes because she thinks they feel very cozy and I am willing to buy them because they are more durable than other similar boots I've gotten her. She also likes Converse sneakers. Other than that I don't go clothing or jewelry shopping for her because she prefers to pick out specific styles she likes. She and her friends like to go "thrifting."[/quote]
