+1 - I think a lot of the issue here is that there is too much pressure around the entire process and kids are wrapping their self worth up into their college admits.  While where you attend college can be very important, it does not set the course of your life in stone and it certainly should not affect anyone's - let alone a teenager's - self worth.  There are countless examples of people who are considered the top of the heap who did not attend a "Top 20" or even a "Top 30, etc."[/quote]
