But new patient appts aren't a thing outside of Kaiser.  You don't have to see your primary care doctor in person to establish care. Yes you may want to interview a few therapists, but even those are usually very brief. I just switched Peds for my son and literally didn't take him in for months until he needed his physical. A lot of this sucks but it's also not moving a mountain. You can do it. [/quote]

My family has started with 3 new doctors over the last 6 months. We had to see each of them in person before they'd start treating. One had a separate initial consult.
