[/quote] People always trot out the platitude "vote differently!" but there are not genuine choices. Bowser is not great but Robert White was weaker on crime. Many candidates are like the ANC above. Charles Allen ran unopposed. Electable candidates with differing views have to run or the platitude is meaningless. And often the vote is so fragmented that people like Nadeau get in again without a majority choosing her. Whole thing is a mess. We had planned to stay in DC but beginning to make plans to get out. There are so many ways that changing the status quo is blocked by the system. Maybe there will be another financial control board when CRE collapse really hits revenue stream and the ship will be righted by Congress. [/quote]
