It actually is much cheaper than NYC, where I live, especially if you factor in alcohol. Here a halfway decent glass of wine starts at $14 and goes straight up. In Spain, Greece, France, and Italy I can get an excellent glass for 4-5 euros. A little more in northern Europe, but still cheaper than in the US. [/quote]
