[/quote] I agree with this but I don't think it's jealousy, I think it's deep insecurity. When we switched to Catholic school the first question was "What's wrong with (public)"? Then "Are you guys secret Trumpers or something?" It bothers them that you're saying their choice isn't good enough for your kid. And at least in my area, they treat support for public school like a religion. People have lawn signs that say "We love our (local public) teachers" and such.[/quote]
