Look, we realize you think because you have been stuck in the same mindset for all of your life that no one ever changes their mind. But listen very carefully. Most thinking people grow over time and don't hold the exact same ideas and opinions that they did 40 years ago. How many homophobes dropped their stance on gay love once one of their beloved relatives came out as gay? Countless. How many racists realized the folly of their hatred over time? Not enough, but certainly many people who would have objected to a child marrying a person of a different race back in the 80s don't feel that amount of bigotry today. Growth. It's amazing.
