I think the person Kevin was with before he died is worth trying to figure out because it unlocks this whole plotline.

Seems unlikely due to his lack of money. I don’t see an angle with Kevin sleeping with Katie Bailey or the other girl in the attic.

Whoever Kevin was with before he died will control what the twist is with Frank.  If there’s a Kevin/Erin angle and Kevin was at the retreat, then Frank probably knows all about it - and was bringing diapers for that reason. (The paternity test in this case is a little dangerous as Frank has to be worried he is related to the father.)  In this scenario the whole Ross family and Frank would be conspiring to keep details from everyone.  I suppose if Frank knows the dad is John, even if Kevin is not involved, he might be bringing diapers and hiding it from Mare, and Faye may have left him because she was sick of him protecting John.
