Took his act down to Sidwell and of course that Gore person got all huffy and told them to take his name off of everything and not to ever refer to him as an alum.  And guess what?  STA did.  (Kid later did a stint in rehab but I guess that's beside the point.)

My point?  These threads are ridiculous.  I've been a parent on the Close for many years and while I'm certain someone has done something to someone (microaggression-grow-up people) to make them feel slighted by and large both NCS and STA are great schools that do not kowtow to money, power, or privilege.

I know you hate it when people write big checks but you know what?  It's a private school.  Thank them.  [/quote]
